Dear friends,

Hello. I decided to send out this e-mail to those of you whom I
personally thanked in the credits of my forthcoming disc (Eye of the
Nautilus). I want to personally thank all of you for your support,
encouragement and well wishes throughout the past year (the period in
which EotN was recorded). It was a difficult year for me - hearing loss,
extreme arthritis and unemployment - and all of you helped me through it
to some degree - sharing your stories, keeping me in a positive frame of
mind, and being a good friend. As I always say, no one escapes this life
unscathed, so I know I'm not alone in the hurdles I faced, but it was
without a doubt the most trying time of my life and had it not been for
you all I may very well have given up on the project.

Gene, I'd also especially like to thank you for reviewing the raw version
of EotN. It meant quite a lot to me and I incorporated several of your
suggestions regarding organic percussion & the addition of more guitar.
